Session Offerings

Invest in your family memories by booking one of the sessions below. All sessions take place within a 20-mile radius of Orono unless a different location is mutually agreed upon at the time of booking. Sessions held outside of this radius are subject to additional mileage fees.

A 48-hour rush turnaround may be added to any session for $100.

1. What should we wear to our session?

I recommend neutral tones, soft textures, and coordinating rather than matching. Think creams, soft blues, earthy tones, and subtle patterns. Make sure to choose pieces that feel like you but are also timeless. If you have questions about your outfits you can always reach out for guidance.

2. What if my kids don’t cooperate?

That’s completely okay — and honestly, expected. I don’t rely on stiff posing or forced smiles. I guide your family through natural interaction and movement, which allows kids to be themselves. Some of the most meaningful images come from the in-between moments.

3. When will we receive our gallery?

Your fully edited online gallery will be delivered within a 2-4 weeks of your session. My lead times vary given on the time of year. You’ll be able to download, share, and print your images directly from the gallery once delivered. I offer a $100 expediting fee that guarantees your images within 48 hours of the session if you need them quickly.

4. What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

If we’re planning an outdoor session and the weather isn’t ideal, we’ll reschedule for the next available date. I always want the lighting and conditions to reflect the quality and feel you expect.

5. Can we include extended family members?

Yes! Extended family sessions are a wonderful way to document multiple generations. Just let me know in advance so we can plan timing and groupings accordingly. My standard family session

6. What if my child is shy or needs time to warm up?

That’s completely okay. I approach every session with patience and flexibility. I allow space for kids to warm up naturally and never rush the process. Some of the sweetest moments happen once they feel comfortable and free to be themselves.

7. Do you help with posing?

Absolutely. I gently guide you into natural movement and connection rather than stiff poses. You’ll never be left wondering what to do — I’ll direct you in a way that still feels authentic and relaxed.

8. What time of day is best for photos?

If your pet is part of your family, they’re welcome! I just recommend bringing an extra set of hands to help when they’re not in photos.

9. What time of day is best for photos?

For outdoor sessions, the most beautiful light is typically during golden hour — shortly after sunrise or before sunset. If we’re shooting indoors, we’ll schedule around the best natural light in your home or selected studio. While golden hour can be difficult for little ones, we will work together to find a location and time that works best for your family.

10. How do we book a session?

Simply reach out through my contact form, and I’ll respond with availability, session details, and next steps. A signed contract and payment secure your date.

11. What if we’re running late?

I understand that life with kids can be unpredictable. Please let me know as soon as possible if you’re delayed. We’ll make the most of our time together, though session length may need to stay within the scheduled window.

12. Do you offer prints or albums?

Yes. Your gallery includes access to professional print options through a high-quality lab that produces beautiful, true-to-color images — far superior to typical one-hour printing services.
